Sporting Isn't It?
Baseball,basketball, football or golf
The sport doesn't matter you see?
Because the women some brothers prefer
Do not have dark skin like me.
I flip the pages of the magazines
And get excited when I see your face
But I frown when I see your woman
Is from another race.
Brothers, you are free to choose who you want
And I know that love has no color
But you seem to exclude some sisters
Making our chances nil next to the others.
We would attend all of your games
And work at your charity events
Our children would be well mannered
And no, all your money would not be spent.
Great soul mates is what we would be
(Soul being the operative word)
Oh yes, a sister would look good on your arms
Have you tried or haven't you heard?
In this new game of dating and relationships
All might seem fair in love and war to you
Sporting brothers, please choose a sister every now and then
So that we would have something to look forward to.
